Winter Robins on the Mill Brook

While walking over the Hawthorne Road bridge spanning the Mill Brook yesterday I looked down at the frozen surface and noticed a robin standing on the ice. Not so strange because last year at approximately the same location I saw a flock of robbins in the trees in February.
It seems some robbins chose to winter over rather than migrate, real snow birds.

Mill Brook winter
